Gamma Epsilon Chapter Association - Purdue University

About Us

Alpha Delta Pi consists of devoted alumnae whose time as students was not just about a few brief years, but a formative experience that forged a lifelong commitment. Our role as an Alpha Delta Pi Alumnae Association is to strengthen the bonds to the Sorority and each other. We embrace every woman’s uniqueness, we encourage and support each other’s goals and dreams, and we value character above all else. We invite you to learn more about our association throughout this site.

A group of Gamma Epsilon sisters joined forces in 2021 to launch our Alumnae Association with a 14 member Board. We were granted our official charter from Alpha Delta Pi on December 7, 2021.  Our board and committees continue to grow, so there are still opportunities to join our leadership teams.

Gamma Epsilon Chapter Association Wins Highest Award at 2024 Convention

Sisters, we are very happy to announce that Gamma Epsilon Chapter Association - Purdue University has been awarded the Diamond Award of Distinction for an Alumnae Association from Alpha Delta Pi.  This is a significant achievement for our chapter association. In 3 years, we have gone from a Facebook group to reconnect sisters, to Heather Baum having the idea for us to make our group an official association, to winning the highest award that Alpha Delta Pi gives to alumnae associations!

This is not an award the association wins due to the work of one person. This is an award that took the effort of many. We are one of the unique associations for which this award is even more challenging to win, since we no longer have an active chapter, and we are a virtual association. These factors make winning a traditional award more challenging. It shows the strength of the friendships we developed during our college days and how our members continued to value those relationships throughout their lives. It also shows the seeds of philanthropy, fun, and community sown during our college years have grown.

I would like to thank our current officers for the efforts they have put forth to make this possible. It could not have happened without the dedication and cooperation of these ladies. We would like to invite others to take on board positions. This is an alumnae association for all Gamma Epsilon members to be a part of. Come to our monthly online events, contribute to our philanthropy projects, and join our in-person homecoming event this year. I would like to invite all of our sisters to join us.

Loyally,

Donna Garate Daugherty
President
